OUR BACKGROUND
Studio Nord was formed by Romina and Philipp in Weimar, Germany, while studying architecture at the Bauhaus University.
Besides working as architects in Zurich, they spend their free time creating unique ceramic pieces. Every piece is the result of a blend of architecture, modern technology, and a deep love for handcrafted ceramics.

At Studio Nord, we blend art and craftsmanship with modern technology to create ceramics that are both functional and stylish. Influenced by our work as architects, we embrace classic principles like simplicity, functionality, and the harmony of form and function.
Using technologies like 3D printing and slip casting, we craft mugs with clean, geometric lines that feel just great in your hand. Our focus is on enhancing everyday moments with thoughtfully designed ceramics that make you happy.
